Company letterhead — the paper a quotation, a contract or an official letter is printed on.

Offset stock takes a pen and a stamp without smudging, which coated paper does not. Conqueror Laid adds a texture that is felt the moment the sheet is picked up, and is the reason some companies still send things on paper. Printing both sides suits terms and conditions on the back; one side is the norm for correspondence.

Leave the middle of the sheet clear — anything printed there fights the letter itself — and keep the design out of the outer few millimetres, which most office printers cannot reach.
