Eyelets suit a rope and an existing mast. A pole pocket slides over a pole and keeps the flag flatter in low wind. Add a telescopic pole if there is nothing on site to fly it from, or leave it off if there already is.
A flag is read while it is moving. Big shapes and strong colour survive that. Small text does not.
