Canvas Printing

Gallery-wrapped canvas on a solid wood frame.

Gallery-wrapped canvas on a solid wood frame — a photograph or an artwork that hangs without glass, a mount or a frame around it.

The print wraps around the edges, so the piece reads as an object rather than a picture in a box. Matt canvas is even and quiet; textured artist canvas has a visible weave that suits painting and portraiture and hides the fact that it was printed. A 4 cm gallery frame stands off the wall and suits a large single piece; a 2 cm frame sits closer and works better in a group.

Canvas needs a high-resolution file. Send the largest original you have — an image that is sharp at postcard size will show its pixels at a metre wide.
